I graduated from University of Arizona with a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology in 1991. Then I attended medical school at University of Missouri-Columbia (also my hometown). I completed a Family Practice Residency at Scottsdale Healthcare and I am Board Certified in FP. I have always practiced Urgent Care Medicine which is more fast-paced and procedure oriented than traditional outpatient Family Medicine.
Since my career started in 1997, I have always taken pride in practicing “evidence based medicine.” But, over the years, I have found gaps in our current understanding of many conditions. I began to question many of the treatments that I was prescribing to my patients but never really knew where to look for different approaches or solutions.
This lead to a paradigm shift in my vision for treating people. I felt like I was Board Certified in “Everything That Can Go Wrong”. Instead of just focusing on the disease model, what if I could concentrate on getting a person well and building upon that to help people feel great? MD2.0 was a natural fit for this vision. I combine the best parts of my traditional medical training and combine it with the newer ideas to help people achieve their vision for living a life that is full of energy, creativity and limitless human potential…MD2.0.

My frustration has turned into optimism. Now I have the tools to treat many types of acute and chronic pain. From athletic injuries to work-related overuse pain to chronic nerve pain and even Osteoarthitis, I have the ability, in most cases, to extinguish pain and give people their lives back.
If you suffer from chronic pain or, if your pain is preventing you from performing your best or even enjoying any activity that makes you happy…set up a consultation so we can begin the path to becoming pain-free.
